WHERE ARE MMM CASHMERE ITEMS MADE?
Every piece is proudly made in Scotland - in small batches, by a family-run mill with generations of expertise. Our manufacturing partners blend traditional techniques with modern approaches to ensure that quality, care, and craftsmanship are knitted into every stitch. It’s not fast, and that’s the point.
WHAT MAKES MÀIRI M MACLEOD CASHMERE SPECIAL?
We work with the world’s highest-grade cashmere. But what sets us apart is how we shape it. Our accessories are designed with intention: bold without being loud, timeless without being plain, and luxurious without feeling precious. Every product is made in limited runs, with a focus on feel, form and functionality - built to last, love, and lend to your best friend.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY CASHMERE?
Cashmere, like good design, ages beautifully when treated with care. We recommend a gentle hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Rinse, reshape, and lay flat to dry - keeping it away from direct sunlight and heat. Between wears, simply air it out. There’s no need for dry cleaning, just kindness. Between wears, let it breathe. To keep moths at bay, store your piece in a breathable bag with cedarwood or lavender. And as for pilling? It’s a natural part of wearing the real thing. Just comb gently every so often.
Consider it a ritual — small acts of care for pieces you’ll wear forever.
HOW LIMITED ARE THE COLLECTIONS?
Each run is intentionally small, just enough to avoid waste and make sure your piece feels truly special. If you fall for something, don’t wait. We don’t follow traditional fashion calendars. New drops arrive only when they’re ready - designed with care, not deadlines. Sign up to be among the first to hear first about restocks, fresh drops, and seasonal colour stories worth collecting.
DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
For now, we’re keeping things close to home.
We don’t currently offer international shipping - our focus is on delivering a beautifully personal experience, and we’re not quite ready to scale that globally just yet. But trust us, we’re working on it. When we can wrap the same care and attention into a long-distance parcel, you’ll be the first to know.
CAN I PREORDER?
Yes, and we love it! We offer limited preorders on select pieces — a slower, more intentional way of working. By making only what’s needed, we honour the process, avoid waste, and ensure each item has purpose from the start. Preorder lead times are clearly marked, usually between 6 and 12 weeks. Think of it as a considered pause, not a delay. Need something sooner? We can’t promise, but email us at hello@mairimmacleod.com and we’ll see what’s possible.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
We hope you love your piece, but if it’s not quite right, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery - as long as the item is unworn and in original condition. Simply get in touch and we’ll guide you through the process. We believe in fair, human customer care, always.

Right now, we’re only available through our website - keeping things personal, considered, and close to home. We’re not in shops just yet, but we’re in conversation with a few likeminded spaces that share our values.
